Cultivate Coffee Roasters started out of a passion for health and good coffee.
The commitment to health emerged when our daughter became chronically ill. After witnessing her remarkable recovery through treating food as medicine and removing toxins from our home, we became advocates for this healthy lifestyle.
Roasting our own organic coffee was a way of limiting toxins and getting the most health benefits from every delicious cup.
Our roasting practices
We like to emphasize the importance of freshly roasted coffee. Roasting quality coffee involves intentionality and precision: from selecting premium beans to carefully controlling temperatures and time during roasting.
Freshness ensures you experience the coffee at its peak. Right after roasting, beans develop compounds that contribute to the distinct aroma and flavor. These benefits decrease over time. The taste and health benefits are maximized when the time between roasting to grinding to brewing are minimized.
